On Sunday, March 9, former South Granville High School standout Brooke Bowling’s current college team, the Charlotte 49ers, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Texas Mean Green.
The game took place at Lovelace Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Mean Green this season.
The 49ers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 4 p.m. at Radford Softball Stadium against Radford Highlanders.
