In the week ending Feb. 21, one gas station in Vance County sold premium gas at the lowest reported price of $3.48 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The average reported price of premium gas across the county was $3.63 per gallon.
Vance County had 11 of 48 reported gas stations offering premium gas.
The statewide average price of premium gas in North Carolina was $3.55 per gallon for the week ending Feb. 21, an increase from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
