In the week ending Dec. 13 2025, one gas station in Vance County sold regular gas at the lowest reported price of $2.59 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, regular gas averaged $2.77 per gallon.
Vance County had 15 of 48 reported gas stations offering regular gas.
Across North Carolina, the average reported price for a gallon of regular gas remained unchanged at $2.73, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
