City of Oxford issued the following announcement on March 7.
The Oxford Board of Commissioners will adjourn into a closed session on Tuesday, March 14th will adjourn into a closed session for the following two reasons:
- [N.C.G.S. 143-318.ll(a)(S)] – To establish or instruct the staff or agent concerning the negotiation of the price and terms of a contract concerning the acquisition of real property located at (OR} to establish or instruct the staff or agent concerning the negotiations of the amount of compensation or other terms of an employment contract.

[N.C.G.S. 143-318.ll(a)(G)] – To consider the qualifications, competence, performance, condition of appointment of a public officer or employee or prospective public officer or employee (OR} to hear or investigate a complaint, charge, or grievance by or against a public officer or employee.
