On Friday, Feb. 28, former South Granville High School standout Georgia Preddy’s current college team, the USC Upstate Spartans, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Charlotte 49ers.

The game took place at Terry Field. This was their first matchup against the 49ers this season.

The Upstate Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 12:50 p.m. at Terry Field against St. Bonaventure Bonnies.
