On Friday, Feb. 14, former Vance County High School standouts Malia Simmons and Tymiah Wimbush’s current college team, the Winston-Salem State Rams, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Kutztown Golden Bears.

The game took place at Nancy Chapman Cassell Field. This was their first matchup against the Golden Bears this season.

The Rams’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 12:30 p.m. at Nancy Chapman Cassell Field against Kutztown Golden Bears.
