Maria Parham Health is marking the retirement of Dr. Richard Goldstein, a long-serving otolaryngologist, who will see his final patients on December 23. Dr. Goldstein’s medical career has spanned 43 years, with over 32 years spent serving the Henderson community.

Recently, staff members from Maria Parham Health and the operating room team gathered to recognize Dr. Goldstein’s contributions. During his time in Henderson, he cared for nearly 28,000 patients.

Bert Beard, Chief Executive Officer of Maria Parham Health, stated: “Dr. Goldstein’s legacy at Maria Parham Health and in our community cannot be overstated. For more than three decades, patients trusted him with their care, and colleagues relied on his knowledge, precision, and calm presence. We are deeply grateful for his dedication and wish him the very best as he begins this well-earned next chapter.”

Dr. Goldstein intends to remain in Henderson with his family after retirement and plans to pursue personal interests and hobbies. Maria Parham Health expressed its appreciation for Dr. Goldstein’s service and commitment to excellence.
