Maria Parham Health is extending an invitation to cancer survivors in Henderson and Vance County for its annual Cancer Survivor Dinner. This event, aimed at recognizing the journeys of those who have battled cancer, is scheduled for Friday, May 16, at 6:00 p.m. The dinner will be hosted at the South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church in Henderson.
This year’s theme, “Set Sail for Celebration,” is nautical, promising an evening of gratitude, connection, and celebration. Cancer survivors, along with their guests, will have the opportunity to share their unique stories and participate in a dinner honoring them.
Kimberly Smith, Director of the Maria Parham Health Cancer Center, expressed gratitude for the chance to celebrate local cancer survivors, stating, “Every survivor’s journey is a testament to strength and perseverance. This event is our way of saying ‘we see you, we honor you, and we’re celebrating with you.’”
Attendees are welcome to bring one guest and must register by May 8 by calling 252.436.6485 to secure their places at this memorable event.
Maria Parham Health is looking forward to hosting this dinner and celebrating with the survivors.
