Maria Parham Health will celebrate its 100th anniversary by illuminating its campus for the first time. The event is scheduled for December 4, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., in front of the hospital in Henderson, North Carolina. The hospital invites community members, families, and former patients to join the festivities.
The celebration aims to bring together people from Henderson, Vance County, and nearby areas who have been part of Maria Parham Health’s century-long service. Former patients are encouraged to attend and reflect on their healing experiences at the hospital.
Bert Beard, CEO of Maria Parham Health, stated: “As we mark 100 years of caring for this community, we wanted to create a celebration that reflects the warmth, resilience, and togetherness that define Henderson and Vance County. This event is our way of saying thank you to every patient, family, staff member, and neighbor who has been part of our story. We hope everyone will join us as we light up our campus and celebrate a century of hope and healing.”
Those interested in honoring a loved one with a luminary can reserve one at no cost by emailing donna.young@lpnt.net. In addition to the illumination ceremony, attendees are invited to donate canned food during the event in support of ACTS (Area Christians Together in Service), a local charitable organization.
