Maria Parham Health announced on April 13 that it will discontinue its current patient portal, Syntellis, effective April 30 as the organization transitions to a new platform called InteliChart. After this date, patients will no longer be able to access their personal health information through the Syntellis system.
The transition is important for patients who rely on digital access to their medical records. Maria Parham Health said patients should log in and download any needed health information before the deadline. Access to the current portal remains available at https://communicator.syntellis.com, and step-by-step instructions are being provided by the hospital.
“We are excited to transition to the InteliChart patient portal, which will provide an enhanced and more user-friendly experience for our patients,” said Bert Beard, Chief Executive Officer of Maria Parham Health. “As we make this change, we encourage patients to download their existing health records from Syntellis before April 30. We appreciate our patients’ patience during this transition and remain committed to ensuring continued access to their health information.”
Patients who have used the Syntellis portal are encouraged by Maria Parham Health officials to take action soon in order not to lose access.
The move reflects ongoing efforts by healthcare providers like Maria Parham Health to update technology platforms for better service delivery.
