Maria Parham Health is offering free sports physicals for student athletes from Vance County middle and high schools. The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 24, between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m., and will take place at Maria Parham Orthopaedics, located at 120 Charles Rollins Road, Suite 102, in Henderson.
According to the release, “This is a great opportunity for student athletes to complete their physicals ahead of summer training and the upcoming school sports seasons—free of charge and close to home.”
Students who wish to participate are required to bring signed Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation forms, which are available on the North Carolina High School Athletic Association’s website. It is essential for all students to fill out pages 1 and 2 of the form before arriving, and middle school students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
