On Saturday, Feb. 8, former South Granville High School standout Georgia Preddy’s current college team, the USC Upstate Spartans, lost 2-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Akron Zips.

The game took place at Cyrill Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Zips this season.

The Upstate Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 12:30 p.m. at Cyrill Stadium against Monmouth Hawks.
