On Saturday, March 1, former South Granville High School standout Brooke Bowling’s current college team, the Charlotte 49ers, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Winthrop Eagles.

The game took place at Terry Field. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The 49ers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 at 4 p.m. at Pepsi Stadium against Furman Paladins.
