On Saturday, March 1, former South Granville High School standout Georgia Preddy’s current college team, the USC Upstate Spartans, won 8-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Youngstown State Penguins.

The game took place at Terry Field. This was their first matchup against the Penguins this season.

The Upstate Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 3 p.m. at Cyrill Stadium against College of Charleston Cougars.
