On Sunday, March 23, former South Granville High School standout Brooke Bowling’s current college team, the Charlotte 49ers, won 8-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Florida Atlantic Owls.

The game took place at FAU Softball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Owls this season.

The 49ers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2 at 6 p.m. at Anderson Softball Stadium against North Carolina Tar Heels.
