On Saturday, Feb. 15, former South Granville High School standout Brooke Bowling’s current college team, the Charlotte 49ers, lost 14-11 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Auburn Tigers.

The game took place at Eddie C. Moore Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The 49ers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. at Terry Field against USC Upstate Spartans.
