State Rep. Larry Yarborough (R-Person) recently called on his constituents to remember the vital role law enforcement officers play in their communities.
It is the men and women of law enforcement who help to keep communities across North Carolina safe through their service, Yarborough stated in a September post to his Facebook page.
“We live in a safe community because of the fine people that put their lives on the line every day,” Yarborough said in the post.
With the critical role they play, it is essential not to give into radical agendas that naively ignore what officers do every day, he said.
“I proudly stand with law enforcement and oppose the radical far-left agenda to defund the police,” Yarborough said in his post. “Our men and women in uniform risk their lives every day to keep our communities safe. They deserve our full support and respect – now more than ever.”
