CITY OF CREEDMOOR: Music Festival Performer Applications due Monday, March 21

City of Creedmoor issued the following announcement on Mar. 14.

The Creedmoor Music Festival is a highly anticipated annual music event held on Main Street in downtown Creedmoor, North Carolina and we are glad to be BACK for 2022!!

It is the intent of the Creedmoor Music Festival Planning Committee to present high quality, family – friendly, diverse music that appeals to the ever growing number and taste of our local and regional attendees.  Previous year’s festivals not only drew record attendance (estimated around 6,000-8,000) but also a new vendor participation record.  This is an astounding opportunity to showcase your band!

Performers wishing to participate at the festival will be required to comply with an application process as outlined below.

Application Process

1.     Complete a CMF Performer Application with the following information included:

Application can be found here.

·        Indicate type of performance sample submitted

·        Indicate musical genre

·        Indicate compensation desired

2.     Submit a performance sample (see application guidelines).

3.     Mail, hand deliver or email application and performance sample (if available) by Monday, March 21, 2022 to:

4.     Applications received after March 21, 2022 will be considered only on a space available basis.

5.     Selection committee will meet to review submissions and will notify selected performers by Friday, April 1, 2022.

The 2022 Creedmoor Music Festival is dedicated in honor of Mrs. Merle Edwards.

Mrs. Edwards was the founding organizer of the festival in 1991.
