City of Creedmoor issued the following announcement on Mar. 21.
The 2022 Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday, April 9 at 10:00am and takes place at Lake Rogers Park, 1711 Lake Road.
This FREE community event is a collaborative effort between the City of Creedmoor, the Southern Granville Woman’s Club, and the Creedmoor Volunteer Fire Department.
Thousands of Easter eggs are hidden throughout Lake Rogers Park and it doesn’t take long for the children to fill their baskets! Participants are encouraged to arrive early for photos with the Easter Bunny and to get ready for the egg hunt. Three age groups are represented: (1) 0-3 years; (2) 4-6 years; and (3) 7-8 years. First, second, and third place Easter Baskets are awarded as prizes for each age group.
