Census Bureau: More women than men in Stem in 2020

Of the 1,169 people living in Stem in 2020, 54.7 percent (640) were women and 45.3 percent (529) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the NE Piedmont News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 88. In the 65 and over age range, there were 54 females and 28 males.
