City of Oxford issued the following announcement on Nov. 20.
Please be advised, College Street, starting at McClanahan, through Alexander Avenue will be closed for the 16th Annual Community Turkey Trot from 8:30 am until 11:00 am.
If you are traveling during this time, please take necessary precautions as there will be runners/walkers on the road.
The turkey trot will begin at 9:00 am at Oxford United Methodist Church (registration at 8:30 am) and the trot will begin at 9:00 am.
