County of Warren Parks and Recreation issued the following announcement on Jan. 22.

Warren County Parks and Recreation is offering Pickleball 101 for adults at John Graham Gym (113 Wilcox Street, Warrenton, NC) at no charge. 

The winter session will occur on Tuesdays from 10am-12pm beginning January 10 and running through February 28, 2023. 

 Registration is ongoing until the session ends, but pre-registration is recommended for advanced communication on any adjustments. Pickleball 101 is led by Pickleball Ambassador Stan Brothers. 

 Beginner players can play amongst themselves or get assistance from the county’s Pickleball Ambassador. Nets and pickleballs will be available on site for all to access. A limited number of loaner paddles are available.

Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm at the Parks and Recreation Office located 113 Wilcox Street, Warrenton, NC 27589
