On Sunday, Feb. 23, former South Granville High School standout Paige Strickland’s current college team, the Francis Marion Patriots, won 7-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Wingate Bulldogs.

The game took place at FMU Softball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Patriots’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 27 at 12 p.m. at Jimmy Martin Field against Limestone Saints.
