City of Henderson issued the following announcement on Sept. 18.
Henderson County Master Gardeners will be hosting Fall-A-Palooza on Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Henderson County Expo Building.
The event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. will offer classes, fall items for sales, food and children's event.
Tool sharpening also will be available.
Classes will be offered in: Repurposing Items, Crockpot Apple Butter, How To Plant Garlic, Butterfly Gardening, Gourds and Putting Your Garden To Bed.
Fall items for sale will include apples, pumpkins, garlic, fall bulbs, corn stalks and mums (if available.)
Food items will include burgoo by the bowl, hotdogs, sodas and desserts.
The Children's Corner will offer Rock Tic Tac Toe and Bird Feeder crafts.
The Expo Building is located at 3341 Zion Road across from East Heights Elementary School.
