City of Henderson recently issued the following announcement.
Taking Care of Sewer and Wastewater Treatment Plant
Please remember that wipes, paper towels and similar products are NOT to be flushed down toilets. These items will clog the system, causing backups and overflows at the wastewater treatment facility that will create public health risks amid this COVID-19 pandemic. Even wipes labeled flushable will clog pipes so please, let's work together to keep our systems running smoothly.
