Warren County Social Services Moves to Appointment Only
Effective March 27th, the Warren County Department of Social Services will see visitors by appointment only. Paper applications for Work First, Medicaid, Food and Nutrition, and LIEAP will be available in the lobby during regular business hours. Residents may submit applications via fax, mail, or the drop-box. Residents are also encouraged to apply for Medicaid and/or Food and Nutrition benefits online at epass.nc.gov. A caseworker will phone individuals to complete an interview if you choose to apply using one of these methods. Department of Social Services employees will be on site and will answer phone calls and emails Monday-Friday from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
Effective March 30 Food and Nutrition Services, Medicaid, and Work First recipients can obtain fishing licenses by calling Warren County DSS at 252-257-5000.
