City of Creedmoor issued the following announcement on July 14.
The City of Creedmoor, NC intends to accept a bid of $100,000 from James C. Blaine for the purchase of 8 acres of land at 3215 Cannady Mill Road (Granville County Map Number 183800082219). Pursuant to NCGS §160A-269, the City hereby gives notice that any interested parties may submit an upset bid and 5% deposit to the City of Creedmoor City Clerk within ten (10) days of the publication of this notice. Any upset bid shall increase the current bid by at least 10% of the first $1,000 and 5% of any amount over $1,000 or at least $300, and comply with all other requirements of NCGS §160A-269. Upset bids must be submitted in writing along with a 5% deposit to:
