CITY OF CREEDMOOR: Larceny of Catalytic Converters and Batteries from Local Church Vehicles

City Of Creedmoor issued the following announcement on Jul. 29. 

On Tuesday July 20, 2021, at 09:16 a.m., the Creedmoor Police Department responded to The Christian Faith Center (101 Peach Tree St.) regarding the larceny of catalytic converters from six Ford Church Vans and the batteries from two Freightliner Church Buses. Investigators believe the larcenies occurred sometime between July 19, 2021, and July 20, 2021. The suspects used a cutting tool/saw to remove the catalytic converters from the vehicles,

Anyone with information or knowledge of similar cases is urged to call the Creedmoor Police Department at 919 528-1515 or Granville County Crime Stoppers at 919 693-3100. A reward of up to $1,000 dollars is offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. Callers do not have to give their name or personal information. All callers are kept anonymous.
