City of Oxford issued the following announcement on Aug. 14.
The City of Oxford’s Planning Department and Kerr-Tar Regional Council of Governments sponsored a bike helmet and book bag give away at the Oxford Housing Authority. The bike helmets were provided by a grant from NCDOT helmet initiative program. Additional bike helmets and book bags are planned to be distributed to the Boys & Girls Club.
