City of Creedmoor issued the following announcement on Aug. 14.
Open Gym Pickleball
Tuesday: 4p-6p
Wednesday: 9a-12n
Pickleball combines elements from badminton, tennis and wiffleball. The net is similar to a tennis net, but is mounted two inches lower and the court is smaller. The game is played with a short paddle and a bright green version of a wiffleball.
