Town of Butner issued the following announcement on Sep 18.
Mayor Terry Turner presented proclamations to Butner Public Safety recognizing October 3-9 as Fire Prevention Week and October as Crime Prevention Month. The Fire Prevention Week theme “Learn the Sound of Safety!” encourages residents to recognize and respond to the sound of smoke alarms.
Butner will hold their National Night Out at the Butner Athletic Park on October 5, beginning at 5 PM.
