Town of Butner issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.
On Wednesday, October 6, approximately 800 cyclists will be cycling through Granville County from Roxboro to Creedmoor by way of Stem and Butner as part of a cross-state 7-day bicycle ride.
Please be aware that cyclists will primarily be traveling along the following roads with the busiest time between the hours of 10 AM – 4 PM.
Granville County Roads on Route Northern Granville to Stem: Old Roxboro Rd, Sunset Rd, Graham Hobgood Rd, Joe Pruitt Rd, Enon Rd, Culbreth Rd, Old NC 75 Rd
Stem Roads on Route: Tally Ho Rd, Sanders Rd, Franklin St, Old NC 75 Rd
Butner Road on Route: 33rd St, E St, 24th St, 4th St, B St, following B St (Hwy 15) over I-85
Granville County Roads Butner to Creedmoor: Will Suit Rd, Fleming Rd. Northside Rd.
Creedmoor Road on Route: Northside Rd, Elm St, Fleming St, Elm St Main St, Douglas Dr.
