County of Warren issued the following announcement on Oct. 15.
Public Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Board of County Commissioners of Warren County on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the Armory Civic Center, 501 US Hwy 158 Business E., Warrenton, North Carolina, to consider and take action upon a proposal to change Table II-1 Dimensional Requirements and Table II-2 Permitted Uses of the Zoning Ordinance to create an Interstate Overlay District (IOD) within Warren County and to include racetracks, internet sweepstakes, and solar farm fencing/screening, shooting ranges in the Development Standards.
Copies of the proposed zoning map amendment are available for public inspection during business hours (8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) in the Planning & Zoning Office, 542 W. Ridgeway Street, Warrenton, North Carolina.
All Parties in interest and all interested residents are invited and urged to be present and make their views known.
