Creedmoor Police Department issued the following announcement on Oct. 28.
The Creedmoor Police Department is investigating the larceny of two motor vehicles from a subdivision in the city.
A 2016 Black Honda Accord and a 2018 White Jeep Grand Cherokee were stolen from the Davenport subdivision within the city limits. Investigators have reviewed residential camera footage which revealed the vehicles were taken between 3:00am and 4:00am on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Both vehicles were reportedly unlocked and the keys were left in the vehicles.
During the same timeframe, two vehicles – a 2012 Silver Acura TL and a 2014 Grey Chevrolet Traverse – were reported stolen from the Granville Oaks Apartments in nearby Butner.
A late model four-door Jeep Wrangler that has been lifted and has oversized wheels and tires has been identified as potentially involved with these cases.
Anyone with information, or knowledge of the below subjects is urged to call the Creedmoor Police Department at (919) 528-1515 or Granville County Crime Stoppers at (919) 693-3100. Callers are not required to give their name or personal information.
A reward of up to $1,000 is offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
