County of Warren issued the following announcement on Dec. 2.
Public Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Board of Commissioners of Warren County on Monday, December 6, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. in the Armory Civic Center, 501 US Hwy 158 Business E., Warrenton, North Carolina, to consider and act upon the following rezoning request (RZ-2021-04):
Rhetson Companies, Inc. on behalf of Ashley White and Others is requesting the property be rezoned from Agricultural Residential 30,000 square feet (AR-30) to Neighborhood Business District (NB) (Tax Map: E3 7). The proposed rezoning request is to allow the use for a retail store.
Copies of the proposed variance request is available for public inspection during business hours (8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) in the Community & Economic Development Department, 542 W. Ridgeway Street, Warrenton, North Carolina.
All parties in interest and all interested residents are invited and urged to be present and make their views known.
