Town of Stem issued the following announcement on Dec. 7.
Get in touch with your inner Clark Griswold and join us in our second annual Town of Stem Holiday Lighting Contest. All houses in the Town of Stem city limits with lights are eligible to participate.
Nominations will be accepted from November 27th through December 10th. Judging will take place on December 11th and 12th. Please send nominations to susan.cope@stemnc.org
Winners will be announced on the Town Facebook page on Monday December 13th and at the Town Business Meeting on Monday December 20th,.
Winners will receive Lowe’s gift cards. First prize is $100, second prize is $50 and third prize is $25.
Town Board members, Town employees and their immediate families are not eligible to participate in the contest.
