TOWN OF STEM: Tar River Land Conservancy Will Host Three Outdoor Volunteer Opportunities For High School Students

Town of Stem issued the following announcement on Dec. 9. 

Tar River Land Conservancy will host three outdoor volunteer opportunities for high school students during the Christmas Break. We’ve been told many students are looking for service hours right now.  Students (and their friends and family members) are welcome to sign up for one or more of these sessions:

Monday, Dec 20th morning session (9:00 AM-12:00 PM) – trail building at Horseshoe Rd Nature Preserve

Monday, Dec 20th afternoon session (1:00-4:00 PM) – trail building at Horseshoe Rd Nature Preserve

Wednesday, Dec 22nd afternoon session (1:00-4:00 PM) – tree planting preparation at TRLC’s Gantt Tract
