Henderson Police Department issued the following announcement on Feb. 24.
The Henderson Police Department received information today that an area business was targeted via a phone scam. The caller claimed to be a member of the Henderson Police Department and was using a phone number that was similar to our main number. As a reminder: Please be cautious of these scams and if you are unsure of the validity of the caller, reach out to our agency to verify if it is an actual officer calling. You may also ask that an officer physically respond to your location.
