Town of Stem issued the following announcement on Feb. 23.
As we attempt a return to normal, the Town of Stem is ready to bring back town events like the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween, National Night Out with the Stem Police Department and finally the Stem Christmas Parade. These events are critical in bringing our town together and in fostering a sense of community. We hope to bring them all back bigger and better in 2022. But we can’t do it without YOU! Volunteers are needed for the following committees: Events , Improvement, Budget Committee and Planning Board. As a part time municipality, these committees are critical to the operation and forward movement of the town. Most require a minimal time commitment. For more information, send us an email to committees@stemnc.org with the name of the committee(s) you are interested in serving on.
