City of Oxford issued the following announcement on Mar. 7.
The Oxford Police Department would like to announce its participation in the Spring Operation Medicine Drop Campaign beginning March 21, 2022, through March 26, 2022, during National Poison Prevention Week.
During this week citizens may bring expired medicine from their medicine cabinets to the Oxford Police Department, 204 East McClanahan St. Oxford NC, to be disposed of.
The hours for the medicine drop-off will be Monday through Friday 9:00 am until 4:30 pm and Saturday from 9 am until 1 pm. We encourage you to bring all expired medicine however we are unable to accept liquid medication during this campaign. Please spread the word to your friends and neighbors and come participate in this event. We look forward to seeing you!
