County of Granville issued the following announcement on May 18.
Granville County, along with our local government partners at the City of Oxford, is collecting donations for the Granville County Animal Shelter! Support your local shelter by donating much needed supplies that help them manage the animals in their care.
Donations may be dropped off at the Granville County Tax Administration building (141 Williamsboro Street), Oxford City Hall (300 Williamsboro Street), or delivered directly to the Granville County Animal Shelter (515 New Commerce Drive). Just look for the donation boxes at each location!

- Unscented baby wipes
- Cat & dog toys
- Dog & Cat food (Purina cat chow, Purina dog food, 9Lives)

- 9x13 aluminum foil pans
- Heating pad with pet bowl
- Pet heating pad
- Unflavored Pedialyte
