Maria Parham Health has announced the addition of Evan Colvin, MSN, AGACNP-BC, to its team. Colvin joins as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with experience in critical care, cardiology, and urgent care.
Colvin earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in August 2023. Her training includes over 600 hours of clinical rotations in critical care and cardiology. She has worked in intensive care units and outpatient cardiology settings, gaining skills in patient assessments and managing cardiovascular conditions.
Before joining Maria Parham Health, Colvin was a Registered Nurse at UNC Rex Cancer Center's Radiation Oncology department. There she worked with an interdisciplinary team to support patients undergoing radiation therapy. Her previous experience also includes working in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at the University of Alabama Birmingham.

Colvin is board-certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and licensed in North Carolina. She is affiliated with professional organizations such as the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the American Nurses Association.
