City of Oxford issued the following announcement on Oct. 10.
Spooky season is here and we know the ghouls and ghosts are excited for trick-or-treating!
The City of Oxford hours are 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday, October 31.
Remember these safety tips from the Oxford, North Carolina Police Department:
Travel in groups.
Pedestrians watch for cars and cross at intersections.
Drivers watch for pedestrians and drive slowly in residential areas.
Make part of your costumes bright or reflective.
Parents check your children's candy before they dig in.
